Cave tour with a baby?
My husband and son and I go through some caves in the next week. They are guided tours, and it's ok to bring babies. We have to walk 2 miles to get to the cave entrance, so we use our hiking baby backpack. The problem is we can not take it in caves. My son is 20 £ nearly 30 inches tall and 10.5 months. He did not go yet. The trip takes 45-1hr. Any ideas how to carry him. Is to project the rates for his height / weight? We can use a carrier if it is in front. We just can not take him on our backs.
There are some slings made larger infants, toddlers, which can be worn on the side or front. Do not forget to dress warmly, the cold in caves!
